This site ("15‑Minute Walk Precinct Finder") is a static, client‑side web application. It does not run a custom backend server and does not set any first‑party cookies. All processing happens locally in your browser.
The application does not collect names, emails, or any other personal identifiers. You may optionally paste a Mapbox public access token to enable accurate walking distance calculations. That token:

You can clear it by un‑checking the box or clearing site data in your browser.When you click on the map, the latitude/longitude is used locally to compute a circle or to request an isochrone from Mapbox (if you enabled Mapbox mode). These coordinates are not logged or transmitted anywhere else by this site.
Seattle precinct boundary data is fetched directly from a public King County Open Data endpoint (ArcGIS). A filtered, minimized copy of the Seattle feature collection is cached in your browser's localStorage to speed up repeat visits. This cached GeoJSON contains only boundary geometry and minimal precinct name/ID properties—no personal data.

This site does not embed analytics scripts, advertising networks, or social media trackers.
The tool is a general informational utility and not directed at children. No personal data is collected.
Material changes to this policy will update the "Last updated" date. Because the site is static, you should re‑load the page to view the latest version.
